Queens Row documents art history with the visual richness and precision it deserves. All of the
original material is shot on film and archived to digital video. Our projects preserve precious
resources, uncovering rare archival material, restoring damaged photographic negatives and film prints, and conducting extensive, high quality film and audio taped interviews. |

Bringing together these elements in Revolutions of the Wheel: The Emergence of American Clay Art , Queens Row assembled interviews with artists, gallery owners, historians and art critics to document the technical and creative processes inherent to the ceramic art form. The goal, to make a film that can be enjoyed and appreciated by specialists, students and general audiences alike. |
Attention to detail makes this film a rich, visual and textural experience. This richness in production quality pays homage to the lush subject matter. Further, this project is formatted to allow segments to be shown individually, enabling their adaptation for classroom use and, as easily, for Public Television and Cable Broadcast. |
